Retainer Policy

All retainers are non-refundable. We have a no refund policy and is at our discretion. Showing up late will result in less time, and possibly not enough time for the appointment which will result in a loss of your retainer. Cancellation within 24hrs will result in being charged the full service amount (cancellation fee). We allow a one-time rescheduling of your appointment if done with at least 72hrs notice. If sick please stay home, but please be aware that cancellation policies are still in effect. Children /pets are not allowed to be left unattended please find proper care as no guests are allowed during service. The staff at Babe Cave Hawaii will not be liable and may refuse service or ask you to reschedule. If so the appointment will be considered a no show and cancellation fee will apply. Please plan, or reschedule your appointment appropriately. Waxing/sugaring/tints is only at a 5 min window for running late. Past 5 min is marked as a no show. All retainers are deductible to their appointment cost. A new appointment of any service will not be made until the cancellation fee is paid. 

 

Sick Policy

If sick please stay home, but please be aware that cancellation policies are still in effect.

COVID-19
If sick please reschedule. Please keep in mind canceling day of may still be charged for last minute cancellation.
If you have traveled within 2 weeks of your appointment please reschedule.

  • No guests are allowed.
  • Please text when you arrive to your appointment.
  • Wait in car until we are ready for you.
  • Covid form will be given at appointment.

Cancellation / Late Policy

We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 3 days before the beginning of your appointment or you may be charged a cancellation fee.
Canceling within 72 hours prior to appointment is a 50 % charge. Canceling 24 hours of, or no show is a 100% charge of the appointment cost.
Showing up late: 5-10 min, time will be deducted from your appointment. Showing up later will result in less time, and possibly not enough time for the appointment which will result in a no show fee. We have a 5 minute grace period for waxing/ sugaring. After 5 min it’s counted as a no-show and we may not be able to accommodate you. 

Fraudulent Chargeback Policy

At Babe Cave Hawaii, we are committed to providing excellent service, and we expect clients to honor the payment and cancellation policies they agree to. Filing a chargeback in bad faith—after acknowledging our terms and receiving services—constitutes a breach of contract and may result in additional fees and legal action to recover the amount owed.

  1. Late Fees for Unpaid Balances:
  • If you initiate a chargeback in bad faith or dispute a valid charge for services received, we reserve the right to charge a daily late fee of 0.27% of the total balance due. This late fee will begin accruing from the date the chargeback is initiated and will continue until the balance is paid in full or the chargeback is resolved in our favor.
  • Late fees are capped at 8% per month of the outstanding balance, as allowed under Hawaii law.
  1. Interest on Unpaid Balances:
  • In addition to late fees, unpaid balances will accrue interest at a rate of 8% per month (or 0.27% per day) from the date the balance becomes overdue. This interest will continue to accumulate until full payment is made.
  1. Legal and Collection Fees:
  • If it becomes necessary to pursue the unpaid balance through small claims court or other legal action, you will be responsible for all associated legal costs, including:
  • Filing fees for small claims court (typically between $35 and $225, depending on the claim amount).
  • Service of process fees for delivering legal documents, if applicable.
  • Reasonable attorney’s fees and any other court-related costs.
  • An administrative fee of $100 to cover time and resources spent preparing for and attending court proceedings.
  • If the court rules in our favor, any additional interest and collection fees permitted by law will also be applied.
  1. Resolution Process:
  • We aim to resolve disputes fairly and amicably. If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback. We are happy to address any concerns and correct legitimate mistakes.
  • Should a chargeback be ruled in our favor, all fees outlined above (late fees, interest, and legal costs) will be due immediately.
  1. Waiver of Chargeback Rights:
  • By booking services with us and agreeing to our terms, you acknowledge and waive your right to file a chargeback for services received or cancellations made outside of the allowable cancellation window. Any chargebacks filed in contradiction to this agreement will be deemed fraudulent and subject to the penalties outlined in this policy.

 

Children, Babies, Animals, and Groups

Children / pets are not allowed to be left unattended. The staff at Babe Cave Hawaii will not watch children and at their discretion may refuse service and ask you to reschedule. Cancellation Policies will apply. Please be courteous and plan, or reschedule your appointment appropriately.

Relash / Refills

  • No relash or fills may be done from other salons

  • Refills past 3 weeks may have an additional time charge 

  • Refills past 4 weeks is a new set as most lashes must be removed from growth or have fallen out. 

  • Do not come to your appointment with eye makeup on (eye liner, heavy creamy eye shadow, heavy foundation, mascara), as time washing heavy makeup off is time away from your appointment. 

  • Please pre-schedule your appointment prior to leaving to ensure your future appointment as we book 2 weeks out and have less availability the week of. 

  • Babe Cave Hawaii / & lash artist reserve our right to refuse service.
